AP HQ cloud setup
AP HQ privacy notice
Updated September 14, 2026.
AP HQ is a private business operations tool operated by AP Mobile. Its configured automations monitor supplier prices, update matched prices in a designated Google spreadsheet, and synchronize inventory with a designated Google spreadsheet. Cloud execution begins only after the approved migration and activation steps are complete.
Google data and permissions
Dashboard Google sign-in requests identity and email access only. It accepts ap@apmobile.tech and stores encrypted session records that expire after seven days or on sign-out. Dashboard sign-in does not replace the separate spreadsheet connection. Google identifies the connected spreadsheet account by its verified email address. AP HQ requests Google Drive file metadata to check spreadsheet identity and modification times, and Google Sheets access to read prices and formulas and apply configured updates. Google grants the Sheets permission at account level, including viewing, editing, creating and deleting spreadsheets. AP HQ’s checker adapters restrict requests to configured workbooks and do not provide an arbitrary spreadsheet deletion operation.
Use and storage
AP HQ uses this information for the account owner’s configured price and inventory workflows. The Railway setup service stores the connected account email and a Google refresh token encrypted on its persistent volume. Client credentials and the encryption key are held in the service’s environment configuration. Migrated checker state includes price baselines, change history, inventory reconciliation records and configured connection details. Local checker records are retained during migration; final cutover disables local execution before cloud execution begins.
Service providers and access
The connection uses Google APIs and Railway hosting. The standalone private dashboard uses Railway hosting and Google sign-in restricted to the configured owner. The earlier dashboard was hosted on OpenAI Sites. Configured inventory workflows read the AP POS inventory service. Access is limited through the owner’s dashboard authorization and service credentials. This setup service has no advertising or analytics scripts and does not send Google data to a language model.
Retention and control
Connection records remain stored until removed by the operator; this setup does not impose automatic expiration or deletion of stored records. Revoking Google access prevents further authorized API access but does not itself delete previously stored records. The account owner can revoke access in Google Account connections.
